Open Market from the navbar to see the live market dashboard:
- Indices grid — Sensex, Nifty 50, Nifty Bank and other key indices with current value, change and percentage, colour-coded green/red.
- Movers — today's top gainers and losers.
- Sector performance — how each sector is doing today.
- Market breadth — advancing vs declining stocks.
- 52-week high/low — notable range breakouts.
- Charts — interactive intraday and historical charts for the major indices.
- Market news — the latest financial headlines, updated alongside the data.
2. Ticker tape
A scrolling ticker tape at the top of the page shows live index values continuously — a quick glance while you read the news. It updates automatically without refreshing the page.
3. Reading the numbers
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Last / Price | The latest traded value. |
| Change | Absolute change from the previous close. |
| % Change | Relative change — green for up, red for down. |
| Open / High / Low | Today's opening, highest and lowest values. |
Troubleshooting
- Data seems frozen — market data refreshes periodically; during non-trading hours it shows the last close.
- Charts blank — the chart widget loads from an external data service; disable ad-blockers for the site if it doesn't appear.
