1. Where videos live
Video content is available from several places on the site:
- Videos section — the main video library (all sources combined).
- Channel pages — YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion each have their own page listing that channel's embedded videos.
- Video articles — individual video stories play inline on their own page.
Playback uses the site's built-in player for hosted videos and the platform's own player for YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion embeds.
2. Sticky Beeps & search — always within reach
On every video page, a compact sticky control cluster stays pinned while you scroll, so you never have to scroll back up:
- Beeps button — opens the Beeps overlay, a short-form video feed you can play while continuing to browse. Inside the overlay use next/previous to hop between clips and close (or Esc) to return.
- Search — lets you find videos by title or keyword.
- Desktop: a compact search box sits right next to the Beeps button.
- Mobile: only a search icon is shown; tap it to open a dropdown search box (same behaviour as the main site search).
The cluster is a direct child of the tall video column, so it scrolls with you — it's pinned within the page, not floating over the header.
3. The Beeps feed
- Tap Beeps to open the overlay; clips autoplay one after another.
- Use the arrows to skip forward/back, or close the overlay and keep browsing the page underneath.
- Beeps are the same short video clips used on the homepage — vertical, fast, engagement-first content.
4. Searching videos
- Type in the search box (or tap the icon on mobile and type in the dropdown).
- Results appear instantly as you type — titles and descriptions are matched.
- Tap a result to open that video's page.
Search covers every source: hosted, YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion.
Prefer asking over searching? The AI Chat Assistant (bottom-right chat button) can also answer video questions in your language, e.g. "Which videos were published this week?". See the AI Chat Assistant guide.
Troubleshooting
- A YouTube/Vimeo/Dailymotion video won't play — embedded players depend on the platform; check your connection or ad-blocker, and try the platform's own page.
- Beeps overlay feels stuck — press Esc or tap the close button; if it persists, refresh the page.
- No search results — try a shorter keyword; the index matches on titles and descriptions.
